You commit to the power you need, from 2 kW, in whole kW. The rate covers the rack, the power and the work around them.

We do, at the infrastructure level, and we never access your data. Care after go-live is priced per project and set out in your quote.

What does a kW cost?
The rate per kW covers the rack, power, dual metered PDUs, cabling, rack and stack, and testing before go-live. It is set per rack, by the power in it.

Setup is billed once and falls with the term: €0 on 36 months excl. VAT.

What if you draw more than you committed?
You pay for the extra power that month, in whole kW.
- Draw is measured as your average power over the month, from the metered PDUs
- Every started kW of average draw above your commitment is €470 per kW for that month, excl. VAT
- If your draw is above your commitment two months in a row, your commitment rises to it from the third month
What is included in the rate per kW?
Rack space and power are in the rate, and so is the work around them.
Power and rack
- Dual 2×32 A metered PDUs
- Structured power and data cabling, patch cords, standard 1G and 10G optics from stock, labelling
- Rack and stack at go-live, scheduled in business hours
- Equipment testing before go-live
Records and storage
- Inventory by default: serials, rack position, port map, power feed, photos at intake and after every job
- Spare parts and small components stored free; a whole server free for the first 6 months, then €30 per server per month excl. VAT
- Shipping and receiving with 2 business days' notice and a packing list (unannounced delivery €50 excl. VAT)
Network
- One 1 Gbps flat port per rack
- IPv6 /48 per customer, free
- BGP session with RPKI/IRR filtering
- VLANs and cross-connects between your own racks at the same site, free
Access
- Your own access at any hour, crash-cart/KVM sessions
- Vendor escorts in business hours; outside them €240 per hour, 1-hour minimum, excl. VAT

How much does rack colocation cost?
Pricing is based on power, not rack size, so you only pay for the kilowatts you commit to. A half rack is 2 kW at €890 per month. A full rack is €1,335 per month at 3 kW and €1,700 at 4 kW, billed at €425 per kW from 4 kW, on a 12–36 month term, excl. VAT. Can you supply the servers and look after them?
Yes. We sell the equipment, or install the servers you already have, and we design and quote the network for your racks: switches, BGP and uplinks, to buy or rent. Once it is live, we look after it at the infrastructure level: monitoring, security, updates, changes and troubleshooting, priced per project.
What uptime SLA do you guarantee?
Your SLA is agreed per contract and matched to your setup. Both our Amsterdam and Utrecht facilities are Tier III data centres with redundant A and B power feeds.
How is physical access to my rack controlled?
You get a temporary badge for each visit after registering with your passport, and our engineers accompany your vendors on site in business hours. Both data centres operate under NorthC's certified security standards, including ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 Type II.
Can I start with a half rack and scale up later?
Yes. You can start with a half rack and grow into a full rack or multiple racks as your infrastructure grows. If you need a different power, connectivity or cabinet configuration, we can build a custom rack around your needs.
